Who is Marlooz?

Ever since my dad introduced me to the internet in 1994 I was fascinated by the medium. I had my first website in 1997 to keep my friends around the world updated about my life.

When it was time for me to decide what I wanted to do with my life, I choose filmmaking as a career. In 2004 I started my own Audiovisual Production company for online video.
After managing other filmmakers for a while I decided I wanted create videos myself.  So I started freelancing. Now I am a one-woman film studio. From directing to editing, from filming to presenting, I do it all. My specialties are event- and corporate videos. I can make the most boring event still look like the party of the century.

But that is not all I do.  My other passion besides film making is Social Media.
The past two years I’ve been really busy on Twitter and it has paid off.  As a freelancer I’ve been using it as a symbolic water cooler where I talk to like-minded ‘colleagues’.  And I met the most amazing people there. What I love most about Twitter? Just read this.

After sort of becoming a personal (social) brand online, I kept getting offers to help companies and brands with their online social media strategies. So I’ve been consulting and executing strategies for various brands this past year.
